- I graduated in Economics from Sydney University in 1981 and I graduated in Law in 1983.

- I was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1984 and worked in private practice until joining the Australian Legal Aid Office in 1985.
- I was called to the private bar in 1988 and practiced mostly in the areas of Family Law, De facto relationships, Child welfare, together with Wills and Probate. These days I focus on Family Law Mediation.
- I first joined Wardell Chambers in 1988.
- I became a member of Edmund Barton Chambers in 1989.
- I have more than 40 years experience as a Mediator in Family Law financial and parenting cases.
- I successfully completed the the LEADR mediation course in 2006 and the Resolution Institute Mediation Course in 2024.
- I am a member of the Law Council of Australia, Family Law Section, the Australian Asian Lawyers Association, the International Society of Family Law and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
- I am also registered with the Civil Mediation Council (UK)
- Up to and including 2025 have been recognized for several years as a recommended NSW Family Law Barrister and Mediator in the Doyles Legal Guide.
- I am accredited under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS).
- I hold a current practicing certificate from the NSW Bar Association.
- Although I am not an FDRP I can arrange a co-mediation with an FDRP who can issue a sec 60i Certificate if required. There is no extra cost to the parties.
